The government should be more aggressive in shutting down unscrupulous steel suppliers, a consumer-industry group said, urging the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to strictly enforce quality standards.
In a recent statement, the Philippine Product Safety and Quality Foundation (PPSQF) renewed calls to respond to its complaint against the remaining 25 percent of steel suppliers selling cheap but substandard products.
