Manila Water shares buoyed by Razon’s entry

INVESTORS’ sentiment toward Ayala-led Manila Water Co. have risen following the entry of ports tycoon Enrique Razon after weeks of slump due to its dispute with President Rodrigo Duterte over “onerous” franchise agreements.

Manila Water shares increased by 9.21 percent week-on-week. They have risen by 36.91 percent year-to-date.
