Finally, Raborar’s “Bulan” had theatergoers howling with laughter, being the only all-out comedy in the bunch. Its plot is simple: five teachers meet two unsuspecting young men in a wooded area one night and try to seduce them, so that the curse that befell them would be lifted. Some may take issue with how thinly drawn the women seemed, no matter how distinct each one is, but it’s obvious the play only aimed to entertain. And it did not disappoint.
