Lady navy officer makes history as first female commodore

A lady navy officer was given her first star, making her the first female commodore in the Philippine Navy.

Commodore Luzviminda Camacho received her rank from Gen. Felimon Santos Jr., the Armed Forces chief of staff, as head of the military’s office for legislative affairs.
