ONE person died and another one was injured in a freak accident involving two motorcycles and a 10-wheeler truck along a national road in Agusan del Norte province on Monday, police reports said on Tuesday. Reports at the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame identified the fatality as Romeo Posadas, 63, of Butuan City, while injured was Marlon Martinez, 22 of Remedios Romualdez town in Agusan del Norte. The police reports said that the accident happened at about 6:18 p.m. on Monday along the National Highway in Purok-2, Barangay Basilisa in Remedios Romualdez of the said province. Investigation revealed that Ramirez was on his motorcycle along the said highway when he collided with the motorcycle driven by Posadas, the police reports said. In that collision, Posadas swerved and crashed into an incoming 10-wheeler truck, driven by Feleciano Sumayang of Butuan City.
