President Rodrigo Duterte has signed into law a bill increasing the excise tax rates on liquor and heated tobacco and vapor products.
Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo and Sen. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go confirmed this in a text message to The Manila Times.
