US govt gives microgrants to Marawi

THE United States on Wednesday awarded six microgrants amounting to $5,000 (P260,000) each to community groups composed of individuals displaced by the Marawi City siege in 2017.

The US Embassy in Manila said the microgrants would support community learning facilities, including training spaces and daycare centers.
