La Consolacion College Pasig with its Parent Teacher Council and Student Coordinating body joined forces to visit “Bahay ni Maria Home for the Abandoned Elderly and Children with Special Needs” in the heart of Calamba City, Laguna for lunch and gift giving with the support from Frontrow Enterprise, Mernels Cake, Tag Media Group and some private citizens who brought food, dry goods and basic sanitary kits for the residents.
According to Andria Terese Nicolas, “We joined this initiative because we, the youth, must understand all aspects of life, not just the life inside our home and school but also to know what really is happening out there. This facility for the abandoned elderly is an eye opener that we, the children, must take care each and everyone, young and old especially those in need.”
