CAMP NAVARRO, Calarian, Zamboanga City: The rescued Vietnamese fishing boat captain expressed his thanks to the Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) for the medical assistance extended to him while fishing off the Turtle Islands in Taganak, Tawi-Tawi.
“We are very much thankful for the assistance provided by the Armed Forces to us. Despite our illegal entry into the Philippine waters, they still rescued us,” said Dang Canh, the injured Vietnamese fisherman currently recuperating at the Camp Navarro General Hospital, Calarian.
