THE National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) is undertaking over P132 billion worth of major interconnection projects to realize its vision of a unified Philippine grid.

The largest project in the pipeline is the P51.7-billion Mindanao-Visayas Interconnection Project (MVIP), considered as the largest energy infrastructure in the country, that is slated for completion in December this year.
