Metro Manila disaster council on ‘blue alert’

THE Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) is on “blue alert” as Taal volcano continues to spew heavy smoke and ash.

Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Danilo Lim, concurrent head of the Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC), ordered all disaster and emergency response units on standby for possible dispatch.
