LAST Saturday, I went to the wakes of Sylvia Mayuga at Manila Memorial in Parañaque and Ninez Cacho-Olivares at Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes, Makati. Syl was a close chum of my late wife, Dulce Quintans, at St. Scholastica’s College in grade school before Syl moved to Santa Teresa. Both exquisite pillas.
