The year 2019 saw a series of accomplishments for the International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (Iswan) with particular emphasis on the mental well-being of mariners around the world.

In its annual review, ISWAN Chairman Per Gullestrup writes the significant milestones reached by the organization to promote the welfare of seafarers and increase the awareness of the maritime world on their needs.
