MANILA Mayor Francisco 'Isko' Domagoso on Monday declared the suspension of classes in all universities, colleges and schools in the city on January 9 in observance of the feast of the Black Nazarene. The mayor also ordered the suspension of work at city hall except those involved in maintaining peace and order, public services, traffic enforcement, disaster risk reduction and management as well as sanitation.
