Headline inflation is projected to further pick up in December from dissipating base effects, and higher prices of food, electricity and oil, analysts polled by The Manila Times said.
Analysts said inflation likely hit 2.1 percent during the month, up from the 1.3 percent recorded in November but still lower than the 5.1 percent posted in December last year.
