Because of damage inflicted by earthquakes, the Supreme Court has ordered the Court of Appeals (CA) in Mindanao to vacate its offices at YMCA Building located in Cagayan de Oro City.
“Based on the reports confirming the structural damage sustained by the YMCA, coupled with the assessment of the City engineer that the YMCA is unsafe for human occupancy, the Court grants the request to terminate the lease contract with YMCA. The justices and staff of CA Mindanao were given the authority to immediately evacuate the building,” the en banc resolution said.
