LEGAZPI CITY: The Kusog Bikolandia is pushing for the creation of an independent Bicol power grid following the failure of cooperatives to restore electricity supply in Bicol, particularly in Albay province for more than three weeks after the onslaught of Typhoon Tisoy.

Noel De Luna, founder and chairman of Kusog Bikolandia, is asking the Regional Development Council (RDC) to create the region’s own grid from two major power sources in Tiwi and BacMan Geothermal Plants.
