VICE MAYOR Akmad "Mitra" Ampatuan and two of his security escorts were ambushed in Sharif Aguak, Maguindanao on Tuesday afternoon, police reported.
Based on the report of Maguindanao Provincial Police Office (MPPO), Ampatuan was shot by unidentified gunmen along the National Highway in Barangay Poblacion at 1 p.m.
