Budget gap widens to P61B in November

THE government’s budget deficit ballooned in November as state spending accelerated, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) reported on Monday.

In a statement, the Treasury bureau said November’s P60.9-billion gap was higher than the P49.3-billion shortfall in October and P39.1 billion a year earlier.
