CITY OF CAUAYAN, Isabela: A kilogram of cocaine worth P6 million was found in Divilacan on Sunday.Police Col. Mariano Rodriguez, Isabela police director, said fishers found the cocaine placed in a black rubberized plastic bag with brown packaging tape floating near the shorelines of Bicobian village.Fishers then turned over the substance to the Naval Intelligence and Security Group-Northern Luzon, which later was given to thr Divilacan police.Capt. Geriyell Frogoso, Divilacan police chief, turned over the contraband to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).The cocaine was confirmed in a series of tests by PDEA chemist Jomar Concepcion.Police Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro, Cagayan Valley regional police director, said the 'bigtime accomplishment' was because of the good partnership between villagers and police in the area who have been 'vigilant and hardworking.'In February 2018, a blue package with 18 packs of cocaine worth P79-million was found in Dipudo, Divilacan.
