Quintas da Silva defeated Cambodia’s Asian Boxing Confederation Asian Youth Boxing Championships quarterfinalist Bang Non by a split decision two days ago to reach the medal round. But luck was not on his side Sunday afternoon when he lost to Thailand’s Ammarit Yaodam in the semifinals by a split decision at The Tent in Manila.
