THOUSANDS of families and individuals fled their homes as typhoon “Tisoy” (international name: Kammuri) ravaged parts of the country with its strong winds and heavy rain.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said that as of Tuesday morning, a preemptive evacuation was enforced in the regions of Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Bicol, Central Visayas and Eastern Visayas.
