TYPHOON "Tisoy" headed off the coast of Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday afternoon, as it weakened further although occasional to frequent heavy rains were still expected in affected areas, the state-run weather bureau said.
In its 5 p.m bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) spotted the eye of "Tisoy" at 110 kilometers northwest of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro or 135 kms north of Coron, Palawan.
