Thousands evacuated in Bicol as typhoon races towards land

More areas in the country were placed under storm signal as Typhoon “Tisoy” ” (international name: “Kammuri”) gathered speed as it approached land, the weather bureau said.

In Bicol, close to 10,000 families were evacuated ahead of Tisoy.
