Months after abrupt halt, Trump gives blessing for Taliban deal

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Nearly three months after he abruptly ended talks with the Taliban, President Donald Trump has given his blessing to fresh diplomacy, but major obstacles stand in the way of a deal to end the Afghanistan war.
