After last week’s accommodation and transportation glitches, food for participating women’s football teams looms as the latest problem facing the organizers of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, just days before the regional sports extravaganza opens.
Philippine women’s football team coach Let Dimzon told The Manila Times on Monday in a phone interview that officials of the six football teams, all billeted at the WhiteWoods Convention Hotel, were complaining about the quality, quantity and variety of food served the players.
