Ceres Negros FC bagged two local championships after dethroning Kaya FC-Iloilo, 2-1, in the 2019 Copa Paulino Alcantara final on Saturday night at the Biñan Football Stadium in Laguna.

Golden Boot awardee Robert Lopez Mendy and Tristan Robles struck in opposite halves before the shorthanded Yellow Busmen foiled the Lions’ late fightback to win the second edition of the competition named after the late Filipino football legend.
