Mayor Jaime Fresnedi inaugurates the Social Development Center, a shelter for street families and children at risk, located in Lakeview Homes, Brgy. Putatan on November 8. The four-storey facility amounting to P94.6-M is set to cater to female CICL and female children in need of special protection, including families of street dwellers. The Social Development Center also houses the headquarters of Sagip Muntinlupa, a 24/7 response center caring for abused women and children. Also joining the inauguration ceremony were Congressman Ruffy Biazon, Muntinlupa City RTC Br. 8-FC Presiding Judge Wehrly Gutierrez-Mendez, Councilors Raul Corro, Arlene Hilapo, Alexson Diaz, Louie Arciaga, and Stephanie Teves, Social Service Department officer Analyn Mercado, and other local officials.
