SOCIAL Welfare and Development Secretary Ma. Asuncion 'Re' Fugoso ordered the confiscation of fake persons with disability (PWD) IDs in Manila after learning that these were being sold from P500 to P2,000.

'Nagbigay ako ng strict orders sa district officers na i-confiscate agad agad, kasi minsan nagaalanagan sila, pinapapunta pa sa main office (I gave strict orders to the district officer to confiscate all fake PWD IDs because sometimes these officers hesitate and still instruct them to go to the main office),' Fugoso said, noting how those the fake IDs can still be used.
