PNP to start using body cameras in 2020

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Monday its operatives would use body cameras in 2020 to make its operations transparent.

“We will be able to use the body-worn cameras, 3,000 of them, probably second or third quarter of next year,” PNP officer in charge Lt. Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa said in a press briefing in Camp Crame.
