METRO Pacific Investments Corp.’s (MPIC) net income slipped by 5 percent to P11.8 billion in the nine months ending September from P12.49 billion in the same period in 2018.
In a briefing on Wednesday, the listed conglomerate attributed the decrease to the P695 million in nonrecurring expenses wiping out its P297-million gain, most of which were due to foreign-exchange losses in the period.
