The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) successfully held its 51st Annual FINEX Conference on 11 October 2019 at Grand Ballrooms 1 and 2 of the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City. The 2019 Conference was led by FINEX Executive Vice President Grace Palma Tiongco and FINEX Week Committee Chairman Michael Guarin.

The overall theme of the conference was Riding on the Opportunities of the Next Digital Wave and it featured five distinguished local and international keynote speakers from both the private and government sectors. The keynote speakers were Vice President for Knowledge Management and Sustainable Development of the Asian Development Bank Bambang Susantono, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno PhD, Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse in Asia Pacific and former Philippine Department of Finance Secretary Jose Isidro Camacho, Director of the Advanced Science and Technology Institute of the DOST Joel Joseph Marciano, Jr., and Vice President of Strategic Accounts in South Asia of BlackLine Systems Alex Chun. In addition, there were four panel group discussions that followed the keynote speeches which tackled the major sub-themes of the conference such as Strategy, Financial Inclusion, Capital Markets, and Financial Technology.
