Besides world boxing champion and senator Manny Pacquiao in the title role, real-life descendants of the country’s national heroes will portray the parts of their forebears in the upcoming biopic of Philippine revolutionary figure Gen. Miguel Malvar.
The national hero’s own grandson, lawyer Jose Malvar Villegas, Jr. made the announcement this week as head of JMV Film Productions, which will produce the true to life movie, simply titled “Malvar.”
