THE Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) wants the Department of Trade and Industry to withhold the implementation of DAO 10 covering price tags/labels and credit-card surcharges until the implementing rules are finalized.
The PRA reasons the order will deprive consumers of the option to pay in cash or to charge their purchases to their credit card. It added that thousands of consumers who do not have credit cards will be penalized with passed-on bank charges.
