POUND-FOR-POUND king Manny Pacquiao flatly ignored Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s announcement that he would only take on the Filipino ring icon if paid the stiff amount of $100 million. “I’m thinking about Sugar Shane Mosley because he will be my upcoming opponent and nobody else,” Pacquiao said.
Top Rank Promotion head Bob Arum said that the Pacquiao-Mosley fight slated May 7 in MGM Grand Las Vegas, could generate huge pay-per-view numbers and Pacquiao’s coming fights would do even more better so it is now irrelevant whether Mayweather (46-6-1 with 39 knockouts) fight him or not.
