SENATE Minority Leader Franklin Drilon has questioned the proposal of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) to create its own forensic unit, calling it a mere duplication of the forensic work of government investigative bodies.

The senator vowed to transfer P19.5 million of PAO’s budget to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to improve its crime laboratory.
