Sogo Hotel collapses, 2 dead

Two workers died and another was injured when a portion of the Sogo Hotel that was being demolished along Mabini Street in Malate, Manila collapsed on Monday.

Operatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council conducted a rescue operation at a demolition site of Sogo Hotel in Malate, Manila as personnel conducting the demolition perished in the morning of September 23, 2019.
