The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has intensified its operations to prevent the entry of the African swine fever (ASF) amid the reported deaths of hogs in some provinces.
The Department of Transportation, along with the Department of Agriculture (DA), directed the Coast Guard to inspect meat and meat products in all ports, and to strictly enforce quarantine measures.
