THE Quezon City government has intensified its monitoring of slaughterhouses and markets amid reports that the African Swine Fever (ASF), a disease afflicting hogs, has reached the country.
In a Facebook post On Wednesday, the city's Public Affairs and Information Services Department, said the local Veterinary Department inspected the Commonwealth market, Farmers market, Novaliches market, Mega Q Mart, Novaliches slaughterhouse, and Labudahon slaughterhouse.
