Meralco cuts rates for 4th time

FOR the fourth consecutive month, Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) announced a decrease of P0.4176 per kilowatt hour (kWh) in electricity rates.

In a statement on Tuesday, Meralco said this meant that the cost of electricity in August would be down to P9.5674 per kWh from last month's P9.9850 per kWh.
