Congress can still revive the vetoed Security of Tenure (SoT) bill if it has a sufficient number of lawmakers who are ready to challenge President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd said.
“The rule is two-thirds [of Congress]. Who knows, [if they have enough numbers?] I mean, [if] they want to challenge 85 percent approval rating, that’s up to them,” Dominguez told reporters in an interview on Friday night.
