THE Philippine government was "cheated" of its rightful shares from the games sanctioned by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), which prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to close them down, Malacanang said on Sunday.
Duterte, on Friday, ordered the closure of PCSO-sanctioned games, such as lotto, small town lottery, Peryahan ng Bayan, among others, because of “massive corruption.”
