LEGAZPI CITY: Ombudsman Samuel Martires has approved the filing of criminal cases against Catanduanes Gov. Joseph Cua and former Bato municipal mayor Eulogio “Leo” Rodriguez for violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, according to documents obtained on Tuesday.
The nine-page resolution dated March 14 was signed by five investigators and recommended for approval by special prosecutor Edilberto Sandoval on April 8.
