PCUP caravan goes to Rizal

THOUSANDS of relocated urban poor are expected to benefit from government services brought by the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) Caravan this July 12 at Barangay Pinugay Phase 5 Covered Court, Southville 9, Baras, Rizal province. PCUP Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alvin Feliciano said his group would bring free medical and dental check-up from Department of Health and Philippine Charity and Sweepstakes Office with free medicines from Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. Meanwhile, the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Labor and Employment will provide livelihood and business opportunities through loans at an affordable interest rate. Other government agencies will also provide assistance during the caravan.
