THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), together with their partners, planted around 6,000 seedlings all over Metro Manila in celebration of Philippine Arbor Day last June 25.
Hundreds of native species and indigenous trees were set in the ground of the PUP campus in observance of the Philippine Arbor Day, in partnership with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC), PUP SEED Network, PUP Administration, and other mandamus agencies and civil society organization.
