Malacañang is confident that senators will approve in the 18th Congress the bill that seeks to make the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) mandatory for senior high school students.
Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo expressed optimism that the measure faces smooth sailing as Dante Jimenez, the founding chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption, cited the need to strengthen ROTC.
