ARINGAY, La Union: A six-year-old girl burned to death while her father, who tried to rescue her, died at the hospital from second degree burns in a fire that broke out in three houses at the Sta. Rita Village East here.
Police Maj. Silverio Ordinado Jr., La Union police information officer, said Jeffry Estoril, 36, went into the burning kitchen of his father-in-law Domingo Mangaoang, where the fire started, to rescue his daughter Cyril Jane, who was trapped there.
