BAGUIO CITY: President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday told graduates of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) to do what is necessary, even sacrifice their lives, if internal or external forces threaten to destroy the country.

“Serve your country well. Die for your country if it need be,” Duterte told the graduating PMA Mabalasik class of 2019. Mabalasik stands for “Mandirigma ng Bayan, Lakas at Sarili Iaalay para sa Kapayapaan.”
