Bangsamoro poll tensions may cause conflict – group

MARAWI CITY: Incidents of election fraud and violence in the Bangsamoro during the May 13 polls might lead to a multitude of conflicts, a nongovernment organization warned on Thursday.

According to a post-election report released by International Alert, a UK-based peacebuilding organization operating in the Philippines, the violence that attended the recent elections had created new strings of conflict as fights between rival politicians morph into fights between clans exacting revenge.
