Ex-Agriculture chief pleads not guilty to graft charge

FORMER Agriculture secretary Proceso Alcala was arraigned on the graft charge which he and others were facing before the Sandiganbayan's Fifth Division.

The Office of the Ombudsman filed the case this year in connection with the alleged monopoly on the supply of garlic.
